From local websites to custom software
The company began in the mid-1990s as Vermilion Web Solutions, started by a group of tech-savvy friends building websites for local businesses. As the web evolved, so did the work. Founder Beau Ford went on to provide technology consulting and development for organizations including Quaker Oats, PepsiCo, and Gatorade, building web-based training and corporate intranet solutions. In the 2010s, the company became VDG Consulting and focused primarily on custom software development. In 2017, VDG Consulting began working with Elite Pacific / Corcoran Pacific Properties to develop a real estate portal, listing-management tools, and escrow tools tailored to the organization. In 2026, the company rebranded as Beckman Ford Software LLC—a family name and a clear focus on building software that helps businesses move forward.
